Volleyball Goes 2-2 During a Busy Week

The LRSC Royals had another busy week where they finished 2-2. They dropped a conference match at Williston State College before heading to Willmar, MN where they won 3-0 over Ridgewater College. They finished the week with a triangular at Central Lakes College where they won 3-0 to Vermilion Community College, and then lost a heartbreaker to Central Lakes College 3-2, who is ranked #4 in the NJCAA Division III Volleyball rankings.

The match at Williston had the Royals starting off a little slow, but as the night progressed, they continued to become more comfortable. The Royals dropped the match by a score of 0-3 (17-25, 21-25, 24-26).

On the first night of a 2 day trip to Minnesota, the Royals traveled to Willmar where they faced the Warriors of Ridgewater College. The team started strong and played a full solid match, winning 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-15).

The second day of the Minnesota trip was in Brainerd, where they were victorious against Vermilion Community College 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-7), but dropped a hard fought match to Central Lake College, 2-3 (21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 17-25, 15-17).

The Royals continue with another big week where they travel to Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND on Tuesday, September 14^th, then host Bismarck State College on Wednesday, September 15^th. LRSC Volleyball will finish the week when they travel to Scottsbluff, Nebraska for the WyoBraska Invitiational, where they will battle NJCAA Division I teams! Go Royals!
