The Lake Region State College Royals traveled to Bottineau, to take on Dakota College in a MonDak Conference double header.

Game 1:

Lake Region State College Royals easily dispatched Bottineau 8-2 on Saturday. Lake Region State College Royals opened up scoring in the first inning. Tarick Morris drove in one when he singled. The Royals scored four runs in the third inning. Lake Region State College Royals batters contributing to the big inning included James Sampson-keck, Ezra Johnson, and Alex Jinda, driving in runs in the frame. Blake Patterson was the winning pitcher for Lake Region State College Royals. He allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out six. DCB's pitcher allowed eight hits and eight runs over seven innings, striking out seven. Lake Region State College Royals racked up eight hits in the game. Lake Region State College Royals got things moving in the first inning, when Kyler Halverson singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. The DCB pitcher allowed six hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out eight. Liam Sommer was on the mound for Lake Region State College Royals. He allowed six hits and four runs over five innings, striking out five. Kevin Krumm and Brock Degooyer entered the game as relief, throwing two-thirds of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively. Sommer started the game for Lake Region State College Royals. He surrendered four runs on six hits over five innings, striking out five Lake Region State College Royals racked up six hits in the game.
