Maara Nelson filled up the stat column with 13 points 8 rebounds 6 assists.

Head Coach Danny Mertens said about the weekend, "I was happy with our overall play throughout the weekend. There were times we went through 3-5 minute lulls where we did not play our best basketball. Early on in the season these things happen, we need to continue to improve every day and eliminate those trouble stretches. We really did a nice job with our pressure defense causing 57 turnovers in two games, which is a great number. If we continue to pressure the ball like that, we will have success."

The Lady Royals are now 5-2 on the season and head out to Sheridan, WY for the Lions Club Tournament taking on Sheridan on Friday and Northwest College on Saturday.
