The Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball team fell to 5-5 on the season with a 79-59 loss to North Dakota State College of Science.

The Lakers were led by Jasmine Jones with 18 points. Brielle Bartelt and Emma Kanz also scored in double figures with 13 points a piece.

NDSCS was led by Arianna Benyhill with 16 points.

The Lakers will begin Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play on Saturday when they travel to Ft. Dodge to take on Iowa Central. Tip for that contest will be at 1pm. The Lakers next home game will be December 7 at 5:30pm when they host Marshalltown CC.
