Lady Wildcats Hold Lady Spartans to 40 Points to Win for 11th Time

NDSCS (11-2) made 51.2% (41-80) of their field goal attempts on Wednesday night and held the lady Spartans to single digit scoring in 3 of the 4 quarters of the game, recording a 90-40 victory at M State in Fergus Falls.

 

The lady Wildcats were led by Ivy Fox (22 points, 11 rebounds), Grace Massaquoi (14 points, 13 rebounds, 5 steals), Maile Hunt (14 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals), Arianna Berryhill (10 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals) and Charita 'Tiny' Lewis (10 points, 3 assists, 3 steals).

M State shot 37% (13-35) from the field and they were outrebounded 47-21.  Leaders for the lady Spartans were Emily Dehler (11 points, 8 rebounds, Hailey Nelson (7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists) and Keely Foley (7 points, 2 steals).

M State (4-3) will face Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College on Friday in Cloquet and then travel to Brainerd on Saturday for a contest against Central Lakes.
