The home opener for the McCook Community College softball team Wednesday has been pushed back from noon to a 1 p.m. start.
After 18 games on the road to start the season, the Lady Indians (14-4) play Dakota College at Bottineau (1-7) in a doubleheader Wednesday at the Jaycees Sports Complex.
Region IX play was scheduled to start Friday in Sterling, Colo. but because of high winds forecasted, those games were pushed back to Monday. However the games between MCC and NJC scheduled for Sunday in McCook will proceed as planned at the Jaycee Sports Complex starting at 1 p.m.
